The beets juice is good for the brain

The consumption of beets juice increases blood flow to the brain and fights dementia.

Drinking beetroot juice increases blood flow to the brain in older people, according to a new study suggesting that red-black vegetables can help fight dementia.

The beetroot contains a large concentration of nitrates, which, with the help of bacteria in the mouth, turn into nitrites. Nitrites help spread the blood vessels in the body, resulting in increased blood and oxygen flow in those places where it is missing.

Previous studies have shown that nitrites, which also in large concentrations are found in celery, cabbage and other green plants such as spinach, expand blood vessels, but researchers say this is the first research proving and increasing the flow of blood in the brain.
